The Ogden Mustangs have added 6-foot-1-inch, 175-pound goaltender Ethan Racz to the 2018-19 roster.
Racz, out of Carlsbad, Calif., and born in 2000, played for the Boston Shamrocks U18 and U16 teams in the ECEL over the past two seasons. He played back home for the San Diego Gulls U16 program the season before.
Racz is ready to roll for a new season, with a new team, in a new league, in a new state.
“I’m looking forward to an action-packed year,” Racz said. “Our team is starting to mesh well, with chemistry already clicking. I’m excited to play at The Ice Sheet. The facility is by far one of the best in the WSHL, not to mention we have the best fan base and fan support in the league.”
Racz describes himself as a big, aggressive goalie who battles on every shot.
“Speed and size combine as my biggest attribute,” Racz said.
