The Ogden Mustangs have added Patrik Tuma for the 2019-20 season.

Tuma is coming off of his first season in the US, skating in 29 games for the Tampa Bay Juniors in the USPHL Premier last season. He had three goals and five assists for eight points and 50 penalty minutes.

Making the transition to Ogden, Tuma sees a good opportunity ahead of him this season.

“I look forward to it,” Tuma said, “and I hope will be my best season in my career. I wanna get better, and i wanna be my best.”

Tuma stands at 5-feet-10-inches and 184 pounds. Born in 2000, he’ll have one more season of junior hockey eligibility after this one. He is a native of Prague, Czech Republic and came up through the HC Sparta Praha U18 and U16 programs.

“I describe my game as a tough game in defensive zone,” Tuma said. “I fall into the shots, and I would protect every teammate. In offensive zone, I have mainly clever game. I rather create chances than score goals.”

Hemming is the 15th player announced so far on the Mustangs’ 2019-20 roster. He’s the seventh new addition to go along with eight returners from last season.
