The Ogden Mustangs have added power forward Anton Karlsson for the 2017-18 season.

Karlsson had 24 goals and 35 points last season in the J20 Elit league in Sweden, playing for his home town Mölndal. It was a big jump up for him after registering 15 points in 26 games the season before.

“I am very excited to join the Ogden Mustangs team, and I am looking forward to the season,” Karlsson said.

Born in 1997, this will be Karlsson’s final season of junior hockey eligibility. He stands at 6-feet-2-inches and 178 pounds.

Karlsson is seventh 2017-18 Mustang signee announced so far. He’s the second from Sweden and third international player.
