OGDEN, UTAH
The Ogden, Utah area is a center for skiing and adventure sports. Located 40 miles north of Salt Lake City, Ogden is a gateway to Snowbasin, Powder Mountain and Wolf Mountain ski resorts. Historically, Ogden was a major player in the development of the Transcontinental Railroad. Golden Spike National Historic Site, located northwest of the city, commemorates the completion of the Central Pacific and Union Pacific railroads. That event marked the beginning of the end of the American frontier.
Home to Weber State University, Ogden was voted America’s 6th best city to raise a family (Forbes, 2010) and offers small town living with all the amenities of a big city. Ogden’s low crime rate, friendly residents and ever expanding entertainment options make it the perfect city for a Junior hockey player looking to further his playing career.
While playing, Mustangs players can soak in the experience of up to 2,000 fans cheering them to a Championship. Ogden’s location allows our players to spend off days hiking in the Wasatch mountains or skiing at some of the best ski resorts in America, located less than 30 miles from our arena.
