We are Ogden’s hockey team. On a quest for a USPHL championship. Developing and placing players in NCAA hockey, Tier I Junior hockey, and professional leagues overseas.

 

The Mustangs are set to compete in their 13th season at the Ice Sheet in Ogden, UT and 1st as members of the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC). The organizational focus is to provide affordable and family-friendly entertainment each game and event featuring the Mustangs.

The Mustangs average over 1,000 fans per night, but often times attract crowds of 2,000 or more. Our community support is continually growing, and the seed has been planted to ensure our average attendance continues to grow annually. This rabid following has caused Mustang players to receive celebrity-like status throughout Ogden as players are regularly asked to sign autographs, pose for photos and just stop for a brief chat with their adoring fans. Fans treat the Mustangs like professionals and the spark that the team has provided to the local hockey community has caused Ogden to become a hockey town once again.

Players who don the red and blue sweaters in Ogden are recruited from around the world. Each player is assigned a billet family upon arrival in Ogden that will host the player throughout the season. Development as a person, student and player are keys to their success. 50+ players committed to play NCAA Hockey and as many have gone on to play professionally around the world. 16 Mustangs have represented 10 different countries at World Championship tournaments.
